Do you ever worry that you, one of your colleagues, or another lawyer is making a mistake in the process of documenting and perfecting the lenders’ security interest in a transaction involving a real estate mezzanine loan? There is good reason to worry, because such mistakes are unfortunately all too common. This FLC program will cover the building blocks of mezzanine finance transactions and discuss how to avoid making common, and potentially career-ending, mistakes perfecting the lenders’ security interest in collateral.
